Description:
Marilyn is the icon of all icons. As a young girl I remember walking into the home of my older sister Desiree, an Artist herself who lived with a bunch of Artists in Hillbrow (It was beautiful back then!) They had this massive painting of Marillyn mounted at an angle, slanting down from the roof and against the wall in their kitchen (It was too big to lie flat against the wall - I guess they had to make a plan...right?) It was painted in a Warhol style, very bright and colorful. The image stayed with me forever and is what inspired me to do this painting.

This painting was part of the COSMIC SOUL EXHIBITION.
